Curriculum for England and Wales, is carefully constructed to support our students to achieve success. Success as learners, success as leaders and success as global citizens.\n\nWith an ethos firmly founded within Qatari and Islamic values, Ta\u2019allum\u2019s broad and balanced Secondary curriculum reflects the very best of English and Arabic practice to ensure well-rounded provision for all \u2013 moral, personal and academic.\u00a0 The Secondary curriculum plan is rigorously standardised to support both Ta\u2019allum and MOE criteria but also differentiated to meet the needs of every student and equip them with the learning they need to achieve their best and to reach their goals, whether that be as an engineer, a scientist, a business owner or any other career they are aiming to accomplish. With the Secondary Curriculum, each student can discover their strengths and their passions, their creativity and their independence.\n\nThe Ta\u2019allum Secondary Curriculum promotes a culture of positivity and high expectations of all; everyone within our learning community, including teachers and parents, is expected to be student-centred and support students\u2019 intellectual, emotional and cultural growth. We utilise the specialist subject skills of staff to enhance the learning experience and maximise the learning outcomes; academic data is used as a tool for progression and individual development whilst the pastoral programme compliments a holistic approach.\n\nAs part of a global society, Ta\u2019allum recognises the importance of world-wide competencies, including the need for higher-level critical and independent thinking and the use of technology. As a part of this, the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and technological platforms are embedded within the Secondary curriculum and additional cyber skills grounded in robotics, coding and computing are emphasised. Digital expertise and technological literacy is an ever developing need that the Secondary Curriculum aims to fulfil. Other extra-curricular opportunities are also extensive \u2013 from the global awareness of Model United Nations and the Scientific Research Projects to the values based Qu\u2019ran and Hadith Competitions.\n\nOverall, the Secondary Curriculum is designed and sequenced to support each student\u2019s flightpath from Year 7 up to the IGCSE and AS Level exams because we believe that each student deserves to fly. These standards apply to all that students do.\n\nThe school aims to reflect the best of UK practice and the largest proportion of our curriculum is based upon the National Curriculum for England and Wales. This curriculum is a planned programme of courses that will lead to IGCSE qualification and later AS level qualifications, which in turn give students access to universities throughout the world.
