Welcome to the Primary section of Al Jazeera Academy.  I am honoured to serve, as Head of Primary, at a school that inspires excellence and makes a world of difference.

Our school slogan “Creative Learners Today, Future Leaders Tomorrow” is a simple and powerful phrase that speaks about developing critical thinkers, leaders and citizens for the 21st Century.  We seek to be a school of welcome and wonder, of gratitude and service.

Students at AJA Primary experience a holistic and relevant education, firmly grounded in values that reflect our identity as a school with an Islamic ethos. Our values framework is defined by our Tarbeya programme that strives to develop Islamic values through interactive and experiential learning.

We are committed to academic excellence and support across the range of student ability and our enriched International Curriculum provides opportunities for students to explore, discover and investigate through quality teaching and learning opportunities.

We have a TEAM (Together Everyone Achieves More) of dynamic, dedicated staff who work collaboratively to create a happy, safe environment for the children. Our teachers are committed to their own professional development and we work hard at developing sound relationships with students and parents.

I look forward to warmly welcoming you and showing you around our campus.

Primary Headteacher – Ms Nadia Waja
